Birthday Party DIY Balloon Arch

Are you looking for the birthday party balloon arch idea for your little one?
Well! You are at the right place. In this post, I am sharing a DIY of balloon arch. You might think that DIY is a daunting task, but trust me, it’s not. I got you covered with everything you need to know about the balloon arch. It’s my daughter’s 6th birthday. Every daughter’s birthday is special for their parents. This day is special for me too. So, I am throwing a beautiful party for my little baby girl. She loves balloons as every kid does. I am thinking of creating a rainbow inspired party. My daughter loves almost every color. I am going to create a multiple color balloon arch and cake as well. I am sharing a step by step guide of the whole process.

Before moving further, let’s have a look at the things you need to create the Balloon Arch.

You Need:
1. Different Color of Balloons
2. Low Heat Hot Glue Gun
3. White Duck Tape or Heavy Packing Tape
4. Chicken Wire
5. Helium Pump

Gather all the above-mentioned things and let’s start the process. I have taken inspiration from Pinterest. But I will add my creativity and innovation in this idea to make it a little different from the idea because copying the idea and creating the identical arch is a little boring. The process is very simple. Even beginners can nail it in one shot.

DIY of Birthday Party Balloon Arch

You have multiple color balloons. The first very obvious step is to inflate the balloons with the helium pump. Inflate the balloons one by one. This step needs a little patience because you can feel a little exhausted if you do not have a helium pump. After all, it’s not that easy to inflate so many balloons.

Now, take the chicken wire and hang it in a full rainbow shape. If you have a specific location where you can put the wire in a rainbow shape, you can choose that location for the party. We know the fact that to create the arch in the fine symmetry is a little difficult so don’t go for the perfection and go for the shape you are getting.

Next step is to attach the balloon on the chicken wire with the help of low heat glue gun. Take the balloon and apply glue on it. If the glue didn’t work properly then you can use white duck tape of heavy packing tape. In the previous birthday party, a strong wind was blowing while we were decorating the birthday hall. The glue gets dry too fast so we used packing tape instead of glue gun. Thus, I always keep a backup plan, especially when you have a party in a few hours. The backup plan helps in escaping from the blunder.

Attach the balloons one by one on the chicken wire. After this, you can decorate the arch with flowers or confetti. (If you want) And you’re done.

See! How easy it was. Now it’s time to decorate the table and place the rainbow cake on it. Get the birthday caps ready for the birthday girl and her friends. Check everything before the guests arrived at the party. Make sure everything is at the place. After all, it’s your baby’s birthday. Everything should be perfect. Create this easy rainbow balloon arch and surprise your kid on their birthday. The best part of this DIY of balloon arch is, it should be not symmetrical or perfect. It doesn’t have to be perfect or in symmetrical. Create it and make it one of a kind.
